Unipotent Classes
Enumerates the unipotent conjugacy classes of the chosen reductive group. The output mirrors UnipotentClasses(W) in GAP3/Chevie. At the top, the closure order of the classes is displayed as a chain ordered by (Zariski closure of orbits). The table below then lists each class with:
- — the class name (e.g. a partition for classical types, or a Bala–Carter label for exceptional types).
- D-R — the Dynkin–Richardson label: a string of digits encoding the weighted Dynkin diagram of the class (shown only in characteristic ).
- — the dimension of the Springer fibre .
- — the component group of the centraliser .
- Springer series columns — for each Springer series, the pair of the -character and the relative-Weyl-group character attached to by the Springer correspondence.
